World Athletics Championships 2023: Great Britain and Northern Ireland Announce Strong Squad

The British Athletics team for the upcoming World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow is packed with world-class talent, including reigning world champion Josh Kerr and Olympic silver medalist Laura Muir.

World pole vault leader Molly Caudery will also be representing the host nation at the event, which takes place from March 1-3 at the Glasgow Arena.

Kerr, the 2022 world 1500m gold medalist, will compete in the 3000m event, while Muir, a multiple medalist at previous World Indoor Championships, will also race over 3000m.

Caudery, who set a personal best of 4.85m at the recent UK Indoor Championships, will be one of the favorites in the pole vault competition.

Other notable inclusions in the British team are 800m runner Jemma Reekie, who sits second on this season’s world indoor list, and hurdlers Cindy Sember and David King. High jumper Morgan Lake and sprinter Jeremiah Azu will also represent the host nation in Glasgow.
