The Millrose Games Set to Feature Powerhouse Lineup in Women’s 60m Hurdles

The Millrose Games, a prestigious World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold meeting, is set to feature a powerhouse field in the women’s 60m hurdles event on February 11th in New York. The lineup includes the reigning world champion, Danielle Williams of Jamaica, along with several other medalists from the 2022 World Championships in Budapest.

Williams, who regained the world title in 2022 with a time of 12.43, will face off against the bronze medalist from Budapest, Kendra Harrison of the USA. Harrison, the former world 100m hurdles record-holder and 2018 world 60m hurdles champion, will be looking to renew her rivalry with the Jamaican star.

“The depth of talent on display is further bolstered by the inclusion of the American duo of Alaysha Johnson and Tia Jones, both of whom will be aiming to make their mark in the highly competitive field.”

Joining them on the starting line will be Devynne Charlton of The Bahamas, who won the silver medal in the 60m hurdles at the 2022 World Indoor Championships, as well as Williams’ Jamaican teammate Ackera Nugent, the NCAA champion, and the 2019 world champion, Nia Ali of the USA.

They will be joined by fellow American Ronnie Baker, as well as Japan’s record-holder Abdul Hakim Sani Brown, Jamaica’s NACAC champion Ackeem Blake, and Puerto Rican record-holder Miles Lewis.
